I met Aleli thru a former client of our, Stacey. Both are from the same high school, Assumption College of Antipolo. Our debutant, Aleli was quite timid and shy when i first met her and so I was quite surprised when i finally finished her make over. She really transformed and the camera loves her!

As compared to my previous bride, Edelyn, who never had any trial with me, Hildy had 2 trial makeup with me. First was during the SMX bridal fair and second was during her prenup pictorial. She lost a lot of weight when I saw her yesterday during her wedding and I learned she had her gal bladder removed 3 weeks before her wedding…. imagine that.

Anna is a friend of a former client of ours ( Megapixels ), Ms. Karla Magtibay. It’s my first time to meet the bride on her wedding date, as she didn’t avail a prenup shoot and makeup with us. But no worries, Anna has a very nice skin and so a little makeup on her would already be enough to bring out the best in her. As I was doing her makeup, i actually learned that both Joel and Anna were born on the same date and year… what a coincidence!

Marlon and Anne, both working in Singapore, have decided to renew their vows before God as they were already civilly wed. Although their wedding had some problems and inconvenient instances like Manila Cathedral’s aircon suddenly was on maintenance on their wedding day (so imagine the heat inside the church) and Century Hotel informing them a day before their wedding that they cannot start immediately on the reception since there was a previous event before them and won’t be finished till 5pm,  the wedding was memorable and blissful to everyone who attended the wedding.

RE-POST OF THE RECAPS

If you’re one of the few (or many) avid followers of this blog, then you might have noticed the sudden disappearing act of one of my posts. So due to that unwanted incident, Jeng has been “terrorizing” me to make a re-post of the blog. well, as you can see, I’ve conceded, because I feel that you (especially my brides) need to view the pictures of the weddings of the past month. Pardon the raw unedited, and seemingly hurried shots. Unfortunately, I did not have a photographer with me in those days, and between the brides, their bridesmaids, and their mothers, I hardly had time for taking shots after each makeover.

I don’t understand the hyped up appeal of Tagaytay these days (probably the cold weather). Back to the gig; call time was at 4:30am, but I arrived at 4:00am, so I had the liberty of taking pre-dawn pictures of the scenic view offered by Tagaytay. The cool breeze woke me up and got me ready for an early day of work.

For this particular wedding, I was pleased to have had an unexpected reunion with a fellow alumni of Mapua – the bride’s groom, Randy. No offense to the past, present, and future male graduates of Mapua, but the funny thing is, Randy is the only second schoolmate that I know who has clear skin, haha! Anyway, that particular day was fun. Viva to you, Zenny and Randy!

My second wedding for the day, as well as Megapixels’. I forgot to mention that traffic was really heavy on our way to Tagaytay. We left our house in Marikina at 6:30am and arrived Taal Vista for Ogos and Ella’s wedding at 11AM. It was good that Gladys was there to assist me for Ella’s wedding and so because of lack of time, i was only able to do Ella’s makeup only as I have to rush to Casablanca for Helen’s makeup.

Hello Readers!

I know I’m not particularly active when it comes to his blog (or blogging, in general), but that is why I’m dropping in now. It is quite frustrating on my part, since I would gladly post my works here to show you guys how I get the job done. Unfortunately, I’m not blessed with time and initiative to regularly update my blogs. For those of you who are wondering why my share of pictures is lacking, well, simply put, I don’t always have the opportunity and energy to document my clients’ ” transformations”.
