Marlon and Anne, both working in Singapore, have decided to renew their vows before God as they were already civilly wed. Although their wedding had some problems and inconvenient instances like Manila Cathedral’s aircon suddenly was on maintenance on their wedding day (so imagine the heat inside the church) and Century Hotel informing them a day before their wedding that they cannot start immediately on the reception since there was a previous event before them and won’t be finished till 5pm, the wedding was memorable and blissful to everyone who attended the wedding.

After Marlon and Anne’s wedding last Friday, we immediately went home to prepare for an early call time for Wilt and Theresa’s wedding at Tagaytay. I was supposed to follow to a dinner party for my brother who is celebrating his birthday but unfortunately time didn’t permit me to do so. I arrived home at 11:30PM Friday, washed my brushes, took a 30 min nap and off we go to Tagaytay for a 3AM calltime. Carlan accompanied me for the entourage makeup. A big list of entourage totalling to 13! This was actually the first time that i really felt this tired and exhausted. When i was already doing the 5th member of the entourage, i felt like i was ready to retire and close my eyes but need to wake up! We finished at 7am and glad to be home by 10am for another 2 hours sleep.

My second wedding for the day, as well as Megapixels’. I forgot to mention that traffic was really heavy on our way to Tagaytay. We left our house in Marikina at 6:30am and arrived Taal Vista for Ogos and Ella’s wedding at 11AM. It was good that Gladys was there to assist me for Ella’s wedding and so because of lack of time, i was only able to do Ella’s makeup only as I have to rush to Casablanca for Helen’s makeup.

Grace is one of the brides whom I only communicated thru the very popularly used yahoo messenger before she finally decided to get our services for hair and makeup on her wedding day. Meaning, there was no trial makeup that took place before her big day. It is always a big challenge for me to do brides without any trial makeup and why would that be? You would not know if the client is acidic, has allergies with any brand of cosmetics and there’s no room for trial and error. By looking intently on Grace’s facial structures, eye shape and features, then I can start imagining on how to bring out the best in her.

I met Michelle a week before her wedding for a trial makeup. Just as we are chatting and discussing on what look she wanted for her wedding, she was telling me that she’s not actually a fan of the no makeup look. She wanted a natural look but she fondly called this as: The After S_X Look… hmmm…Nice tag there, huh! 
Michelle wouldn’t want her before photos be posted though I have a photo of it. I would still have to convince her that she still looks radiant even without makeup. Well, that’s what i usually notice on all brides during their wedding day.

Mitchelle is acidic and so I used a foundation which is 1 shade lighter than her natural color.
