A Little Reminder (About the Upcoming Workshop)

We’re very appreciative of the hearty response that we’re getting concerning the beauty workshop. Thanks to all those who expressed interest and decided to join. We still have to take care of the details like food, notes, and capacity of the venue, and on this note I’d like to bring out the reminders/notices.

As we mentioned in the earlier posts, the slots for the workshop are fixed and would be the basis for the quantity of food, refreshments, instruction booklets, notes, etcetera. In a practical light, we will only consider those applicants who’ve supplied the full payment. It won’t be a walk-in workshop, so if you guys haven’t officially applied, we’re sorry to say that we cannot accommodate you. As of yesterday, I think we only have five (5) slots available, so ladies, get your bustle and hustle and score that slot!

If you’re enthusiastic enough about this event, you need only to call Gerlie and know the “fine print”. You guys can reach her at 6457165 or 6451848.

We’ll be expecting you! :)

A BEAUTY WORKSHOP Like No Other! (May 8-9, 2010)

Makeup Seminar

While on the job, Jeng and I have heard numerous brides express enthusiasm and interest about make-up. So we’ve been mulling it over, and we’ve come up with a fantastic treat for all those wanting and willing to learn the ins and outs of make-up that are suited to your lifestyle and your personality.

We’re inviting everybody who is interested to join this workshop. Slots are only open to the first 25 applicants. This will be a 2-day event on May 8 (Saturday) and 9 (Sunday), 2010. Please keep yourselves updated with our future posts regarding the venue since it is still being negotiated. Enrolment fee is Php6,300.00 (food for 2 days included). Of course, you’re asking, what can I expect to gain from this mini crash course? First off, we’ll start with an extensive introduction about skincare: your type of skin, how to properly take care of your skin, and of course, the right kind of make-up to use.  It’s our policy that, no matter how good or expensive the make-up is, if your skin isn’t healthy, then it compromises the entire look. From there, half the day will be devoted to discussing the fundamentals and basics of make-up, suitable for the average working woman: (a) how to groom your brows; (b) what are the essentials of your make-up kit; (c) what type/shades of make-up will fit your skin tone; (d) proper placement of eye make-up; (e) the type of make-up for every occasion, just to name a few. As with every other workshop, questions are encouraged and will be entertained. Although we will be stressing  the introductory lecture, a much greater portion of the workshop will be devoted to demonstrations , followed by hands-on practice of the techniques and style.

Now, friends,  Jeng and I, aren’t saying that we’ve reached such a level of skill that we’re entitled to give fool-proof lectures. Our main purpose for this event is to share our knowledge with anyone, who is interested to learn. Everybody can look good with just a little effort and a lot of confidence.

If you have questions, feel free to leave you comments or email us at jeng@jengandcarlan.com or carlanteng@yahoo.com or call us at 6451848 ; 0917-5585806(Carlan) ; 0920-9503612(Jeng).

Thanks so much for all your support! Thanks for reading! Hope you can join us in this endeavour! See you guys in May!
